Our 5th annual local celebration of National Screen-Free Week will feature several “unplugged” local activities, recommendations and opportunities to connect with community, inviting people to disconnect to reconnect.
Westborough Connects understands that digital devices are necessary for navigating many parts of life and relationships today. Westborough Unplugs, part of National Screen Free Week, encourages us to "unplug" in order to nurture our in-person social connections and discover the incredible local opportunities beyond our screens. We work with community partners to host and promote local events, culminating in the annual Unplug and Explore Nourse Farm.
We are grateful for the generous support of Westborough Unplugs from Westborough Civic Club, Reliant Foundation, Central One Federal Credit Union, Grossman Development Group, Central National Gottesman Foundation, Avidia Foundation & Prototype Training Systems.
During National Week of Conversation (April 15-21), Westborough Connects is participating in the Better Together Film Festival helping to bring together diverse groups of people to view films that showcase hopeful stories of bridging divides. Learn more, including how to register HERE.

Square One is a collaborative partnership between Westborough Public Schools, Westborough Youth and Family Services, the Rotary Club of Westborough, Westborough Public Library and Westborough Connects. It offers free programming and resources designed to support community education and resilience around substance use and mental health.
Square One presents this free community program for all ages- from children through senior adults. Through a wellness expo, hands-on activities, and opportunities to learn about health benefiting tools, we will connect attendees to resources which support mental and behavioral health, showcase various ways to positively impact well-being, and decrease the stigma surrounding mental health.
In this 4th local celebration of National Screen-Free Week, Westborough Connects encourages people to consider our relationships with screens and how we may restore balanced use in our everyday lives. The week will feature several “unplugged” local activities, recommendations and opportunities to connect with community, inviting people to disconnect to reconnect.
