A fun-filled, community-connecting day!

In 2024, we hosted our first Connect at the Courts! 181 players registered and the tournament ran from 8am-7:30pm. Our logistics sponsor, Professor Dink, expertly handled the groups throughout the day, with play happening on 8 courts. We quickly cleaned up just in time for nightfall.

• We had the assistance of 56 amazing volunteers during the day!

• We took several attendance counts and there were more than 180 on-site consistently throughout most of the event.

• We offered 22 raffles, which were generously donated by local individuals and businesses and were very popular.

• Refreshments for players and volunteers were generously donated by Cumberland Farms, EG America, Panera Bread, Walmart, Ocean State Job Lot and Chef du Jour. Chef du Jour also offered gourmet made-to-order grilled cheese sandwiches and snacks for purchase.

• We had a number of "funtivities" for people of all ages, including cornhole, ladder ball, a pickle obstacle course, and more!

• Additional highlights included Nelson Ball hitting the ceremonial first serve to our board chair, Kate Storm. Several local pickleball experts also led a group in a learn-to-play session midday; Westborough Massage offered free chair massages; and Boston Ski & Tennis had rackets on-hand to demo throughout the day.
