The 8th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Celebration, an “all ages,” free event taking place on Monday, January 19th from 4:00pm-6:30pm at Westborough High School.
This year’s theme is “From Dreams to Dialogue: Creating a Community Where All Belong” and will feature facilitated conversation for adolescents and adults, led by Dr. Kalise Wornum. Children are invited to a special interactive program taking place at the same time, led by the WPS Social Studies department and the WHS Black Student Union.
The event will feature a community potluck dinner. Attendees are invited to bring a special dish to share. Members of the WHS Fine Arts Strings Quartet will welcome attendees into the event and the evening will conclude with a special performance by Learning First Charter School's STOMP Team.
Live language interpretation will be available with pre-registration by January 7th.
The event is co-hosted by Central MA Connections in Faith (CMACIF), Westborough Interfaith Clergy, Westborough Public Schools and Westborough Connects.
