1:30-2 pm:  Mindfulness in Daily Living - Presenter, Greg Topakian, Ph.D.

2:15-2:45 pm: Avoiding Fraud - Presenter, Shannon Falvey, Assistant Branch Manager, Central One Federal Credit Union

3-3:30 pm: Building a Pollinator Garden - Presenters, Maahi & Mihika Srivastava, Westborough Public School students

NOTE: SAVE YOUR SEAT: In order to help the instructors plan accordingly, we kindly request that you pre-register for the mini-courses (though it is not required). Save your seat HERE.

Opportunities to learn and participate in variety of fun and active ways. No pre-registration required. Drop-in and try something new!

  • 1:00-1:30 - Pickleball & Cribbage

  • 1:30-2:00 - Pilates (led by instructor Iris from Westborough Rec.) & Cribbage

  • 2:00-2:30 - Pickleball & Line Dancing (led by Rachel from Ah-Si Your Boots)

  • 2:30- 3:00 - Carrom

  • 3:00-3:30 - Pickleball, Chair Yoga (led by Kerry from Salmon Health & Retirement), & Carrom

  • 3:30-4:00 - Moving Meditation - Tai Chi & Qi Gong (led by instructor Mary)

We know it’s opening day of the season and you might not want to miss it! Westborough EDC will be “hosting” a viewing of the game, complete with game day snacks!

Who is this event for? This event is geared towards Westborough residents who might fall into any or all of the following categories:

  • adults!

  • adults who are transitioning from one stage of life to the next (e.g. from parenting young children to “empty nesters,” recent or soon-to-be retirees, etc.)

  • adults who do not feel connected to the community, but wish to be

  • adults looking for opportunities to learn, live, play and thrive while living in Westborough across the life span!
